This new training is designed to equip supervisors with the necessary skills and techniques to handle challenging and sensitive conversations with confidence and professionalism. The course will provide practical guidance on preparing for, initiating, and navigating through difficult conversations to achieve positive outcomes. The class will use group discussion, case studies, and videos.

Learning Objectives:
- Demonstrate the ability to formulate and communicate clear and effective requests to their supervisees, fostering transparent and constructive communication in the supervisory relationship.
- Develop the skills necessary to engage in and navigate challenging conversations with supervisees, demonstrating proficiency in fostering open communication, addressing conflicts, and promoting a supportive supervisory environment.
- Proficient in recognizing and effectively addressing negative reactions that may arise from supervisees during difficult conversations, demonstrating the ability to manage emotional responses, maintain a constructive dialogue, and cultivate a positive supervisory environment.
