This presentation provides an overview of how to facilitate a 3-Day Intensive Experience for clients with process addictions and a history of trauma. Common process addictions include addictions to shopping, gambling, sex, pornography, internet use, exercise, work and eating disorders. This training will provide attendees with a proven structure based on the presenter’s experience facilitating 3-Day Intensive Groups in Memphis on a bi-monthly basis. The program provides clients with family of origin psycho-education, understanding and use of attachment theory, experiential trauma therapy and treatment planning. The 3-Day Intensives help clients become motivated, reduce shame and guilt, and examine what sobriety looks like for them.
