TRANSITIONING TO TELEHEALTH IN A TIME OF “SOCIAL DISTANCING”: Rebooting, Reframing and Resourcing for Ourselves, Our Families, and Our Clients

In this workshop participants will be given a new perspective on performing valuable therapy at a distance. Effective therapeutic interventions need to accommodate the new, digital distance and other potential challenges. The fact is, however, with some skill, emotional and interpersonal closeness can be cultivated.

Join Rus Devorah Wallen, LCSW, ACSW, veteran “Telehealth” provider for over 15 years. Learn how she has navigated through the various elements of this clinically profound work. She will be guiding participants with information and tools to help us navigate the new digital (non) “terrain” interface. After this portion of the presentation, she will be sharing some relaxation and self-regulation techniques for us, our clients and our families.

Disclaimers:
This workshop will not focus on any legal matters or the future ramifications of the interim HIPAA leniencies. We are fortunate to have them in place at this time. Each clinician should consult with his/her own risk management or legal guidance (NASW, APA, Trust PARMA, etc.) regarding HIPAA and out of state work.

Many intricate questions were posed, Rus Devorah will only be able to answer a portion of them.
