Description: We will work to best appreciate how to interact with patients who have psychosis, including paranoia. We will learn how to address boundary issues, verbal and nonverbal communication issues and goals, and appreciate how cognitive factors can be managed in therapy.

Shoshana Lewin, Psy.D. is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Baltimore, MD. She treats patients with a variety of clinical diagnoses, including with a current psychosis and a history of psychosis. In her work as staff psychologist in Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY, she treated patients with acute psychotic symptoms on an inpatient unit as part of a clinical team, and provided training to clinicians from multiple disciplines.
